Adam Brown, PharmD, BCPS, BCCP

Associate Medical Director

Dr. Adam Brown has extensive clinical practice, academic, and industry experience. He joined ECIR in 2022 after 10 years of acute care clinical practice in the Texas Medical Center, 6 years of which were as a clinical practice faculty member at the Texas A&M Rangel College of Pharmacy and UTHealth McGovern Medical School. He also has prior experience as an MSL. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas A&M University and completed a 2-year Pharmacotherapy Residency with the Texas Tech University School of Pharmacy. He is dual board certified in Cardiology (BCCP) and Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and has instructed both pharmacy and medical trainees in cardiovascular therapeutics, drug literature evaluation, and interprofessional education. His areas of expertise include cardiology, renal, endocrinology and metabolism, hepatology, infectious diseases, geriatrics, oncology, and RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics.

Adam utilizes his broad exposure to clinical practice and academia to create optimized medical strategies and high-quality, influential medical and commercial assets. When he is not working Adam is an active fitness enthusiast who enjoys all forms of competition. He lives near the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas with his wife, their three kids, and their dog.
