Dr Linda M. Ritter brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic medical communications of all types to her role as Scientific Director here at ECIR. In addition to experience in publication planning, scientific and promotional education, sales training, pharmaceutical advertising, continuing medical education/continuing education, and medical affairs support, her therapeutic knowledge ranges across multiple areas, including oncology, hematology/oncology, immuno-oncology, immunology/virology, inhalation medicine, multiple sclerosis, and neuroscience. As a molecular geneticist, she has a deep understanding of targeted therapies, biologics, and personalized medicine.
Dr Ritter completed her doctoral education at The Ohio State University and her postdoctoral training at the National Cancer Institute. After 20 years of working in industry, for medical communication agencies, and as a freelancer/consultant, Dr Ritter joined ECIR in 2019. At ECIR, she enjoys sharing her vast experience in medical communications with our interns, fellows, and junior staff. In addition to various medical societies, Dr Ritter is a member of the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) and the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA).
