Senior Account Manager
Jay Rivera has more than 10 years of medical communications experience, 8 of which supported publication planning for multiple Fortune 500 companies. His account management experience includes budget development and management, forecasting and strategizing, invoicing, and timeline development and execution. Jay built client relationships with ease and developed an exceptional understanding of DataVision during his time at Envision Pharma Group. He started his career with Bristol Myers Squibb in its global medical affairs’ oncology and immunology department, where he supported the launch of multiple assets. From Bristol Myers Squibb, Jay moved to Ashfield Healthcare, where he managed the publication plan for Takeda’s medical affairs–global oncology and guided the publication of more than 200 projects for multiple assets. He has worked alongside clients to revamp their existing DataVision platform and develop/modify their review work streams in order to streamline processes and capture additional reporting metrics. Since joining ECIR Medical Communications, he has worked with Optinose to publish more than 30 publications and has assisted it by developing standardized review templates and streamlining the review process. Jay’s personal philosophy is to exceed client expectations by delivering projects on time, on budget, and efficiently.
