Dr. Amber Federizo has over a decade of clinical and research experience in hemostasis and thrombosis. During this time, she became the first nurse practitioner in the United States to be approved as principal investigator on global interventional trials in addition to investigator-initiated trials in hemostasis. Her research and clinical coverage included the entire state of Nevada. She has a passion for women’s health, rural, and vulnerable populations. Her work in providing international protocols to treat women under a multinational project culminated in the awarding of the Humanitarian of the Year award in 2018 by the National Hemophilia Foundation. She is passionate about scientific research design and dissemination of findings to advance care.
